Since 2019, Matthew has worked exclusively in the private sector. Alongside his clinical practice, he serves as a Consultant Podiatrist to both a Premiership rugby club and a professional football club.

Matthew treats a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with a particular focus on sports and musculoskeletal injuries. In addition to his MSK caseload, he performs minor surgical procedures under local anaesthetic.

With POM-A and POM-S entitlements, Matthew is qualified to supply, and administer prescription-only medicines and anaesthetics.

Matthew has completed the Theory of Podiatric Surgery, advancing his knowledge of surgical management of the foot and ankle.

Matthew has presented at conferences and regularly delivers CPD sessions for fellow clinicians.

In early 2026 Matthew published a book on heel pain. 

Outside of clinic hours, you’ll find Matt on the basketball court.

I qualified as a Podiatrist in 2014 from Cardiff Metropolitan University and have taken on various roles in the NHS and private sector.

In 2022 I joined Huntleigh Healthcare- a leading provider of medical

equipment for vascular diagnostics, where I get to combine my podiatry background

with product management and education. I help deliver lower limb vascular

masterclasses and create training resources for clinicians. We focus on tests like

Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Toe Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI)

simple but powerful tools for assessing blood flow in the lower limb and spotting

Peripheral Arterial Disease. It’s something I’m really passionate about, especially

because early detection can make a huge difference to patient outcomes and quality of life.

I’m excited about joining Align podiatry to be able to offer a vascular assessment service and really enjoy being back in clinic meeting people.

Hannah qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and brings over 30 years of experience in the care sector.

She’s passionate about keeping feet healthy, comfortable, and pain-free, and loves helping her patients. Hannah treats a wide range of foot conditions, including ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, verrucas, fungal infections, and more complex issues such as wounds and nail surgery.

Friendly and approachable, Hannah aims to make every visit as relaxed and reassuring as possible.

 Meet Sue, our friendly and welcoming receptionist here at Align Podiatry. With her warm personality and exceptional organizational skills, Sue is the first face you'll see when you walk into our clinic or call us for assistance. 

She is dedicated to making your visit smooth and pleasant, from scheduling appointments to answering any questions you may have. Sue’s goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. We're lucky to have her as part of our team!
